Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am not asking for guidance. This is not for me. You can try to engage me in a process but I am not of that religion. I am simply seeking information that will contribute to a solid list of symptoms associated with any program of withdrawal from symbicort. If you are not aware of such a bare list and not willing to directly and unadornedly transmit it to me, then we will likely not be enjoying any further conversation. silversoot.
Symbicort (budesonide / formoterol) contains two medications in one. It contains budesonide (a steroid) and formoterol (a long-acting bronchodilator). Both of these medications work together in your lungs to help prevent and lessen symptoms associated with asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
A few withdrawal symptoms if you suddenly stop using Symbicort are weakness, weight loss, nausea, muscle pain, headache, tiredness, and dizziness. In order to prevent withdrawal symptoms slowly and gradually Symbicort must be weaned off.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
