What Are The Symptoms Of An Eye Migraine?

my daughter is only 24 years old, however she has experienced flashing spots and zig zag lines in the vision of her left eye. This is new to her but I have had these same symptoms for years off and on and I was told they were called Eye Migraines . I am concerned because the other day after the spots occurred she experienced cloudy vision in her left eye and lost feeling in her left fingers. This was temporary and it did not last long. I was wondering if these were still symptoms of an Eye Migraine or if there is possibly something else going on. My daughter does get severe headaches at least twice a week and has for years. I believe this runs in my husbands side of the family with the severe headaches.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
She needs to see a doctor as soon as possible. You cannot be sure these are migraines until other, more serious conditions like stroke or brain tumor are ruled out. Losing feeling in a hand is not part of a ophthalmic migraine. Please get her to a doctor as soon as possible
Regards
