What Are The Symptoms Of A Miscarriage?

My wife thinks she miscarried 5 weeks in, and had low HCG and Pegrestroine count. She said she had heavy bleeding. Week 5 too pregancy test that went from pregant to barely visable line. blood test HCG also showed very low week 5. Week and half later took a pregnancy test and now says pregnant at 6 plus weeks now into this. Is she still pregnant and didn t actually have miscarriage or what is going on?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Though falling HCG levels and bleeding are not good signs and maybe an indication of miscarriage, the most conclusive way of knowing whether your wife had a miscarriage or not is by getting her USG done as soon as possible.

You shouldn't delay it and consult a gynaecologist as soon as possible. I hope that answers your question.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
