What Are The Symptoms Of Neurofibromatosis?

I was diagnosed with NF at an early age. I had a brain tumor removed at 9, and not many problems since then, besides the tumors growing on my skin, and a bit of a learning disability. Lately ive been exhausted no matter how much sleep i get, plus i get headaches a few times a week. Could this be because of the NF?

Neurologist 's  Response
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

Neurofibromatosis does carry an increased risk for having brain tumors so a higher level of suspicion should be had in case of new symptoms. Considering your recent headaches you should be examined for other signs which could indicate a tumor. Also high blood pressure is more common in NF so that possibility must be considered as well as a possible cause of your symptoms.

I hope things will work out for the best
