What Are The Sore String Like Things That Are Connected To Underside Of Tongue?
My boyfriend has string like things hanging but connected to the underside of his tongue on both sides. One of them was sore and he bit it off. Now it is more painful. I have had these too, but neither of us know what they are called or why they get sore. Can you possibly tell us? He is in excellent health.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe, both of you have the string like things under the tongue. If you observe, you may see such things with every one.Means they are present with every one connecting the floor of the mouth with the tongue called the frenum. They are sour because they are infected in the mouth of your boy friend. I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms ofloxacin, diclofenac and paracetamol. wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
