What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Viread Medicine?

hello doctor my recent report show HBV 12745 IU and my doctor put me on Viread. I am hesitating to start taking this medicine due to the side effects and maybe taking it for life time. I studied Viread, I do not expect to the renal impairment and bone density decreases. please give me advice. thanks

Viread is an anti-viral agent that prevents HBV and even HIV virus from multiplying in the body.Your Doctor will only place you on this drug after evaluating its risks and benefits.I feel it is good for you.You just need to take the drug as recommended by your Doctor.Your kidney functions will always be evaluated occasionally and if need be, your dose can always be adjusted.You do not need to be too scared as it is a drug widely used for this purpose and producing good results.
