What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Meprate During Conception?
Hi ,I m 28 yrs married, trying to get conceived. My LMP was on 28 April 2015. I have done pregnancy test at home and it was negative.I had consulted with my doctor and she told that I had PCO after seeing my scan report. she prescribed meprate 10 mg for 10 days. Do this tablet has any side effect ?shall i stop using meprate?am i pregnant ?if yes, is meprate cause any problem to the fetus? Please rply me.
I really appreciate your concern. If you are having PCOS then Meprate would be effective in regularizing periods and other signs & symptoms of PCOS. Meparte is having some side effects liek breakthrough bleeding, vaginal spotting, breast tenderness, changes in weight, mental depression, gastrointestinal disturbance etc. You can continue to take Meprate for PCOS. If your pregnancy test is negative it is unlikely to have pregnancy. Meprate should be stopped as soon as possible after confirmation of pregnancy.
Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care.
Thank you.
Best Regards. Dr. Manan
