What Are The Side Effects Of Steroid Injections?

Yes I had three steroid injections in neck and lower back and before I had those done each time I had lab work done for doctor and at hospital and come to find I have had a uti , so now I have to go see a urologist due to the medicine is nor working for the second time does those steroid injections suppress your immunity

Hi...Can understand your concern...As per your query about side effects of taking steroid is that prolong use of steroid can decreas body immunity and body's flight and fight reactions to stressful condition..,can cause weakness and oppurtunistic infections...There is very broad list of side effects of steroids like anxiety,headache dizziness,gastric upset ,increased appetite ,decreased body immunity ,infections etc You need not to worry and recover urself by taking a rich nutritious diet and vitamins and antioxidants supplements.This change is temporary as you are not taking it from a long time and these are just side effects..Drink plenty of fluids ,craneberry juice and take urine alkaliniser like cital by consulting the urologist and informing him about the previous drug history.I hope the information helps you.Take care.
