Hello Doc, On Sunday I gave my BF head, then we had sex. Monday I got sick as hell and started feeling symptons, Tuesday evening I got a rapid Strep Test and it tested positive. Is it possible for be to have had Step Sunday night and given it to him on his penis, and then to me when we had sex? is it possible that I got strep from giving head? Thank YOU!!

Hello ma'am and welcome.

The more likely scenario would be that you got Strep after giving him head as it is called locally. This is not uncommon and not considered too serious either. The two areas of the body where most number of infection causing organisms exist that we get in contact with are the oral cavity and the genitalia, although the oral cavity contains more infection-causing organisms than the genitalia even.

Request your boyfriend to concentrate a little more on personal hygiene by making sure he has showered the same day or at least cleaned his genitalia prior to your sexual contact.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
