Hello
Abrupt stopping of paxil can lead to dizziness, insomnia and flu like symptoms.
Whereas zoloft can lead to insomnia in some and somnolence in some patients.
If paxil wasnt effective for you, you can take zoloft. But take it in daytime if its causing insomnia.
The drug treatment for OCD shows its effects in 1-2months.
So i would advise you to continue with zoloft for atleast 1-2 months.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks.
