What Are The Side Effects Of Zithromax 500?
I took Zithromax for three days and after finishing the meds, I began to have bad stomach pain and a lot of stomach burning, it s has been approximately a month and half ago since I took the Zithromax, I have had a CT scan and endoscopy and it shows thicking of the stomach wall.. I believe the Zithromax is the cause of all of this, your thoughts?

Zithromax contains azithromycin.
Some of the side effects of azithromycin are stomach upset, nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
So the abdominal pain you have could bedue to taking azithromycin. You can take prilosec for relief.
Discuss with your doctor about the thickening of the stomach wall. It could be due to simple inflammation or a serious malignancy.
