What Are The Side Effects Of Xanax?

As professionals and those whom face the suffering of withdrawals and seizures; which know much about Xanax/Alprazolam etc. its benefits and side-effects. I m looking for the most optimal 2mg to 3mg XD. I have heard much about the green rectangular shaped 2 mg Alprazolam, Manufactured by DAVA Pharmaceuticals Inc manufactured in: Fort Lee, New Jersey. From what I understand is that they re the best quality pill on the market. If this be true how can I legally obtain the medication with a Prescription. just so I may be able to obtain the highest quality out there I feel I have the right and deserve the best! Not melatonin mixed with some other lousy sleep aid! I have complete insomnia at the age of 32 I cant find a solution please help me figure out how to obtain these pills or a pill which can give me a good night sleep , not having me worry about a seizure. Because my anxiety is appropriately treated by trusted professionals. I m sure the green horizontal pill made by DAVA would help. Many people have told me that its the best please feel free to contact me ASAP! -Taylor

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Xanax is alprazolam which belongs to the group of medications known as benzodiazepine is used to treat panic attacks, anxiety disorders, insomnia etc. Common side effects of xanax are drowsiness, dizziness, memory impairment, loss of balance, loss of concentration, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, sweating, irritability, difficulty in sleeping, constipation, slurred speech, GIT upset, weight gain, appetite changes, dryness of mouth, loss of libido, stuffy nose, suicidal tendency, trouble breathing, muscle weakness etc.

Sudden quitting xanax can cause dangerous withdrawal symptoms like delirium, seizures, panic attacks, hallucinations, depression, anxiety, sweating, tremors, hyperventilation, insomnia, rapid heartbeat etc. The best way to avoid a difficult withdrawal is to slowly taper down the dose of xanax into smaller doses
over the course of several weeks.

Take care. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.
