Hi, I am suffering from Epilepsy since my birth. I was prescribed medicine cardinal from childhood till i reached 12th standard. Then my child specialist changed the medicine to tegrital 200 mg. I always used to fall on the floor or it would occur in sleep times. At times it has also occurred when i was very excited or very much depressed. The occurrence was less, but i remain unconscious for nearly 25 to 30 mins. Lately in June 2014, i had an epilepsy attack wherein after taking Tegrital i have observed that my mood changes very often. I get angry very soon or cry often if i fight with my partner. Just wanted to know is this medicine having an effect on mood swings and besides this what are the other side effects and what can do to control it?
