i am t/.,/si .. i came to know tat i have tb... its in initial stage.. i take my medicines as prescribed by my doctor .. medicines are forecox , asthalin , budecort.. i want to know about the side effects of the medicines and any kind of food tat i must avoid.. i would like to know the precautions to be taken when i am out and meet people .. i dont want to spread any kind of infection of my parents or anyone .. so any careful measures to be taken to avoid it ??
Anti tubercular medicines specially Rifampicin cause a reversible damage of hepatocytes and thus resulting liver dysfunction. Ethambutol cause a visual toxicity. Asthalin may cause palpitation, tachy arryrthmias and electrolyte disturbances (decreased serum potassium).
