What Are The Side Effects Of Prozac And Neurontin?

I am a 53 yr old female who anxiety/depression, am taking prozac for., yesterday was given Neurontin., and after reading side effects am afraid to take as I still have dark thoughts sometimes and don t want a med that may cause it to be worse or actually do. what do u think?

Hi,

You are right that Neurontin can cause aggression and dark thoughts. However, this is not a common side effect. Still, we recommend to start it low and I create gradually if any time you feel you well you can stop it. Or if you are too worried, you may talk to your doc for an alternative; though these side effects are not common.
