What Are The Side Effects Of Plan B Contraceptive Pills?

I have been on birth control for 2 years. Irrelguar periods. Regular UTI s. I took the PLAN B pill a week ago less than 24 hours after unprotected sex. Woke up this morning with what felt like a UTI, but I have basically been peeing fresh (bright red blood) that was REALLY heavy.

Hi,
Since plan B is a emergency oral contraceptive pill. It can cause side effects like heavy or light bleeding and cramps due to high concentration of sex hormones in them.

If you are having fever , burning micturition lower abdominal pain, kindly consult your doctor.
These medications shall be helpful.
1. Tablet Ciprofloxacin-tinidazole combination twice daily for seven days.
2. Tablet paracetamol 650mg twice daily for fever.
3. Syrup disodium hydrogen citrate 15ml in a glass of water thrice daily.
