What Are The Side Effects Of Lunesta?

I m having trouble getting to sleep. I take 100milg. of amediorne since 2008, but it s been in the last year that I ve had troube getting to sleep. I have been taking Lunesta and most of the time it helps. I m wondering if my melatonin level is off, and if this drug can cause that?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you are taking drugs like Lunesta ,which is a sedative, also called a hypnotic and Amiodarone , which is use to help keep the heart beating normally and you are wondering about side effects of lunesta . Well there can be many side effects caused by lunesta but it is not known to cause any side effect related to melanin . But Amiodarone is known to cause side effect like increase sensitivity of skin to sun . I would suggest you to consult your doctor and discuss the condition with him/her . Also take lunest only under the experts advice .
