The common side effects of
Levothyroxine include increased heart beat & sweating, mental/mood changes (such as
nervousness, mood swings), tiredness, diarrhea, shaking (tremor), sleep disturbances, headache;
changes in your menstrual periods or appetite or body weight.
Levothyroxine & Adderall (Amphetamine /
Dextroamphetamine) when taken together can INTERACT and increase the risk of cardiovascular side effects such as high BP,
palpitation, chest pain, and irregular heart beat. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications or you may need to use and alternate but a safer medication like
Atomoxetine or antidepressant Bupropion to treat ADHD.
