What Are The Side Effects Of Implanon Implant?

I used to have implanon.. Before I got it removed I noticed it was bent (or broken) when it was removed it was indeed bent. Its been 3 years since I ve been on any kind of birth control and have been trying to get pregnant this whole time, no luck. Could the implanon being bent make my infetile?

IMPLANON is etonogestrel implant - a prescription medication for the prevention of pregnancy in women.
Besides changes in menstrual bleeding patterns, other common side effects reported are headache, inflammation of the vagina, weight gain, acne, breast pain, throat infection, stomach pain, painful periods, mood swings, back pain, nausea, dizziness and pain at the site of insertion.
Usually, you will regain your fertility immediately after its removal. Maximum it may take about 2 weeks. If you start getting your periods right, your ovulation also should happen normally.
Hence, you need a proper workup for why you are unable to conceive for 3 years after its removal.
Kindly consult Obstetrician and Gynecologist or Infertility specialist for management in this regard.
