Hello
Thanks for writing to us.

Its good that you are planning to conceive and already taking Folic acid. Its good for you and your baby both. Take a multivitamin with folic acid every day before pregnancy and during early pregnancy, as part of a healthy diet.

Taking Folvite 400 mcg or more daily may prevent defects in your upcoming baby

Eat a healthy diet that includes foods that contain folate, the natural form of the vitamin.

Folic acid is found in the following foods:
• Fortified breakfast cereals
• Lentils i.e. Dals
• Asparagus
• Spinach
• Peanuts
• Orange juice
• Enriched breads and pasta
• Romaine lettuce
• Broccoli
However I would advise you to consult your doctor for the dosage.

Thanks
Dr. Tripat Mehta
