What Are The Side Effects Of Estrace Vaginal Cream?

I am wondering which has the least side effects, Estrace Vaginal Cream, or Estring? It s always frightening to read the list of possible side effects. I am an otherwise healthy 66 year old woman. I have been on Yuvafem, but have found it more of a problem of late, due to my bodies inability to actually dissolve the pill. I asked my doctor about other possible medications to deal with atrophy. I also have fairly severe hot flashes that have been going on for 25 years. I don t expect either of these to help the power surges , but I would like the best one with least side effects for the rest. My doctor has suggest either of those I mentioned.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Both of these are locally applied products so though there may be systemic side effects, this would not be common because the medication is acting mainly in the vaginal region only.

Rarely there is an increase risk of cancer but this is not common.

The estring may have less severe side effects.

I hope this helps
