What Are The Side Effects Of Cipralex?

I am 46 yrs old-female. I have had unexplained brusing on my legs for the last 6 weeks or so. They range in size from a cm to 9cm, dark purple with some red, no pain on manipulation. Initially my family physician sent me to test my blood clotting time which was normal. Last week my blood was tested again for a number of items, including CBC, thrombosis??, thyroid. These tests all came back normal. I am a bit worried because I have the same blood type as my father Brh-. My father was diagnosed with Hairy Cell leukemia 30 years ago. He is still alive and receives treatment when the disease comes out of remission. (he is 80 now)

I was put on cipralex 5-10mg before Christmas to supplement my Wellbutrin. I have been on Wellbutrin for many years with no symptoms. When I first started taking cipralex, I was very tired, upset stomach and heartburn. The upset stomach and heartburn have lessen since I started taking it with food. But the tiredness remains.

Other symptoms I have noticed lately - headaches, fatigue, no appetite, sore back (like I have been sitting wrong) just to the left of the spine near bottom of ribs, sort of a stitch in my left side - not really painful just there once in a while.

As well, not sure if this is related - since the fall I have seemed to have trouble swallowing now and again, like there is mucus in the base of my throat just above where the sternum starts. I had this almost daily for a couple of month, but lately has seemed to resolved somewhat and I only feel it occasionally.

I am overweight, 5'10", 200lbs, but in very good health otherwise, no high blood pressure, no diabetes. I haven't had a sick day at work in three years. (i get the flu shot every year)

I eat fairly healthy. I gained 90lbs in two years about 5 years ago when I was on Effexor. Since this time my weight has pretty much remained the same (actually I am about 20 lbs lighter).

My family physician is suggesting I come off the cipralex and then see what happens.

I just want to make sure I don't have leukemia like my father.

Thank you for your help
