i AM TAKING ALPRAZOLAM 1MG FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS DUE TOTHE LOSS OF MY HUSBAND OF 51 YEARS MY dOCTOR PUT MEON THIS MED. iT HAS REAL HELPED IN BUT WITH IN THE LAST 2 MONTHS i HAVE HAD SWEATING AT NIGHT SOMETIMES AND HOT FLASHES AT TIMES ,QUESTION IS THIS NORMAL. i AM GOING TO SEE MY dOCTOR THIS WEEK. i CAN NOT GO OFF OF MED. BECAUSES IT FHROWS MW =E BACK AND HAVE TRIED OTHER MED AND DID NOT WORK i NEED TO TAKE IT .i WORK AT TNE pOLIC E dEPT AS VOLENTEER HELPING OFFICERS and love it and keeps me busy. What do you think I should do?

This doesn't look like related to medication.See doctor and doctor will get you evaluated for the underlying cause.I suspect it to be hormone related.You have not mentioned your age.But this can be related to menopause as well.Regards.
