I would like the doctor that answers my question to be open and honest when he/she answers. I want to know everything I need to know, good and bad. Please? I hope there s something that can be done. I am 8months pregnant right now and when I was in my first trimester I was using, injecting meth, I didn t know I was pregnant at the time. After I did the test and confirmed that I was, I went through a sever stage of depression and continued to injection meth. I got arrested and did 40days in jail. At that time I was about 3-4months. After I got out I was clean for almost 2weeks and started injecting meth again. (No other drugs just meth) I was about 6months when I started again. I don t do no more than 10-15 units and I d get high 7-10x a day. Now I m due next month around Sept 4th, haven t been to doctor since the end on March because I have a felony probation warrant and don t want to go to jail. (Nobody likes going to jail) I m scared that if I do go to a local clinic and they take a urine sample and see that I have meth in my system their going to turn me in and call cps. I ve been going through so much chaos the past few months that would crush anyone s spirit. I was told that when the child is born and they find out I haven t been to the doctors and testing positive for meth, can be charged with child endangerment and get prison time. Please tell me there s something I can do? Will the meth in my system clear out if I quit now? How long does it take for meth to get out if your system being 8months pregnant?
