What Are The Harmful Effects Of Inhaling Clorox And Ammonia Fumes?

I cleaned my bathroom with clorox and a little anmonia,....didn t know the danger behind mixing those two cleaning products. I inhaled the fumes and now have coughing fits and have thrown up twice already. what can i do to treat this? throat feels scratchy. have been sucking ice cubes -- that makes my throat feel better.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that due to inhalation of funds of the Clorox and ammonia there has been chemical injury or in general terms chemical burning of the mucosa of Throat..
Coughing fits are further due to throat irritation while can also be de to inflammation in the respiratory tract and construction of Bronchioles..
Nothing to worry about it as t with gradually get resolved..
You can do warm saline gargles.
Drink plenty of cold water and suck ice..
You can also take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Motrin..
Take cough suppressant containing Dextromethorphan..
Take a soft diet..
In Case if it still doesn't improve consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated..
