General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that a repeat stroke can occur but it is difficult to predict if or when this would occur.
IN many places, 1 out of 4 persons who have a first stroke , may have a second one.

The chance of a second stroke can be reduced by lifestyle changes such as controlling blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, healthy diet.

Recovery from this stroke may be slow and it may be incomplete. Some persons do not recover fully.
He would require therapy to help improve his function.

I hope this helps
