What Are The Findings Shown In My Blood Report?

Hi Sir,
I have got blood reports of HB-A2 and HB-F of mine and my childs, Following are results.
Mine age 40 years: HBA2 is 4.60% and Hb-F is < 1.00%
Elder age son 14 year: HbA2 is 4.60% and Hb-F is < 1.00%
Daughter age 12 year: HbA2 is 4.30% and Hb-F is < 1.00%
Son age 10 year: HbA2 is 2.50% and HbF is < 1.00%
Can you please advise if results are ok and no harmful for me or by childs, any suggestion in this regard?

hello, dr. boskey gandhi is here, u all family members hba2 leval are high (more than 3.2),suggestive of B Thalassemia trait. this most common type of hb abnormalities, comes in heredity. it is genetic abnormality. but it is mild type, usually not produce disturbance in life. so don't worry. u have to careful only about one thing that life parter of your children should not be affected by this disease. otherwise their children will be carrying sever type of this disease. (because both parents affected) .so just care about this thing(. treatment of cure of this disease is bone marrow transplantation. but its very expensive & normal matching donors getting very difficult). so just enjoy the life. & don't worry at all.
