What are the findings from the chest X ray?

Plain chest x ray report for my father 36 years old complain from pain in left side,report say Left basal thick atekectatic band,otherwise,clear both lung fiekd& costo diaphragmatic recesses No hilar or medastainal L.N enlargement Cardiothoracic ratio within normal Prominent aortic kunckle

Thanks for writing to HCM

According to X-rays,there is thick atelectatic band in left basal region of left lung.There are many causes of atelectasis,it may be due to retained secretions,infection etc.
Other areas of lung appears normal.
CP angles are clear.
There is Prominent aortic knuckle,it is due to aging.
Mediastinal structures are normal.
