Hello 1 1/2 year ago , you had unprotected sex and your test for HIV infection was negative , still you are having some symptoms ( although you clearly didn't mention in the query ). In detail read this : Approximately 50-70 % of infected individuals experience an acute syndrome following primary infection. The acute syndrome follows infections by 3-6 weeks . Antibodies to HIV begin to appear within 2 weeks of initial infection. P24 nucleic acid amplification test is most reliable and sensitive and specific for HIV confirmation. Symptoms are fever, pharyngitis , lymphadenopathy, lethargy/malaise, arthralgias/myalgias, beadache/retro-orbital pain, anorexia/weight loss, nausea /vomiting/diarrhea . Erythematous rashes , mucocutaneous ulceration on tongue and in mouth. So read this carefully and you will get your answer.
