What Are The Chances Of Sudden Heart Attack After Quit Smoking?

Hi Folks....I hate to sound silly here....I'm a 55 year old male (6 months of NON smoking...yeah!) and continue to have

worries about sudden death by heart attack....I have had a battery of tests, EK

gs, echo-stress test ( the one with a sort of dye injected into me while on the treadmill), enzyme test, ultrasound....ALL came back very normal...do I believe these tests or continue to seek out another cardiologist for more tests?? I am SOOOOOO tired of being afraid of sudden death.....please help!! Tim in Arizona

Hello Tim.
I understand your concerns.
But i would advice you to believe the reports and not keep on wandering from doctor to doctor. This will just increase your anxiety and fear.
At the same time, i would suggest you to stay away from smoking.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks.
