What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Unprotected Sex Followed By Periods?

Hello my name is anjali, and i am 21 years old,my question is- i had a sex wid my husband on 18 feb at 3 in afternoon and i had taken contraceptive pill on the same day within 6 hour, and 24 feb was my mensus to come and it came on time and next month i had mensus on 9 as well as on 25 , what are the chances that i may be pregnant??

Dear Mrs.AnjaliYour chances of being pregnant is very unlikely,provided the periods that came on 24 th Feb and 25 th March were of normal flow in terms of duration and amount just like your normal menses.What contraceptive pill and how many you took as emergency contraception at 6 hours?frequent use of emergency contraception can upset the menstrual rhythm.was the menses on 9 th just a spotting or significant flow.This could be a mid menstrual bleeding which could be normal or due to use of emergency contraception .You have not mentioned if you had unprotected sex subsequently.dr.rajasekhar
