What Are The Chances Of Pregnancy After Taking Plan-B?
I had protected sex with my boyfriend and he wore a condom, he didn t cum inside me, and there was no leaks or breakage (he said he checked) I took plan b the morning after just incase, ever since I took the pill I have been spotting Brownish? Can I get pregnant?!? I m scared!!
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. From your description, it says that you have taken adequate measures not to get pregnant. Firstly, use of condom itself will protect you from getting pregnant and also against sexually transmitted diseases. Secondly, you have taken Plan B, an emergency contraceptive pill, within 72 hours of the act. It offers protection up to 89% in preventing pregnancy. Hence, you need not be scared much about becoming pregnant. You might have occasional spotting after taking Plan B. Most important is, you should get your regular periods within 3 weeks from the day of taking Plan B. In case it is delayed beyond that, you need to get evaluated and seek medical help immediately. Hope the information provided would be useful. Wish you all the best.
