What Are The Chances Of My Child Having Cleft Lip & Palate?
I have a question I was born with a cleft lip and palate. My mother is epileptic and took anti-seizure medication when she was pregnant with me. Cleft lip and palate does not run in our family. If i was to have a child what would be the chance that my child would have cleft lip and palate to?

It is not necessary that your child will have cleft lip and palate , there are possibilities of only 2%.
As in your case it can be possible that because of medications, this might have appeared.
