What Are The Chances Of Lump On Breast Being Cancerous?
just had 2nd ultrasound done - first one was bi-rad 4 - have mass measuring 2.6 x1.3 x2.6 with internal vascularity and slightly irregular margin - now this one (don t have report back) the said they saw 2 lymph nodes in axillary on same side as mass - getting biopsy in 3 days - only 28 years old with 3 month old child and am breastfeeding - noticed lump in 7th month of pregnancy but OB said was normal - could this be cancer ??? very scared...... thank you (Also no history of breast CA in family but do have a lot of CA in general)

1.Generally in the period of pregnancy with breast lumps are due to the ductal ectasia ( dilated ducts) due to obstruction or non evacuation of the milk.
2.Othere possible cause during pregnancy are breast inflammation and hormonal changes can cause lumpy ness, heaviness and pains.
3.But with BIRAD - 4, family history - i would think in terms of breast malignancy / recurrence.
4.Suggest to get an ultrasound scan done - that would help to evaluate the lump,its nature,source and extensions. And lymph nodal assessment at the same time.
5.Suggest to see your treating doctor and get the needful scan and treatment accordingly. In your case malignancy can not be ruled out - needs to examine.
