What Are The Chances Of Getting Rabies On Contact With Dog S Saliva?

Hi. I have given a bite of biscuit in one hand to my pet and afta sometime i don remember if i had biscuit wid same hand or not. I actually fed it. My fingers wer wet with its saliva. It got dry and then i was playing for like 10mins then i had biscuit. Is there any chance of me getting rabies?

I share your concerns. Yes, there's chance of getting rabies in this way. Generally we have minor cuts in our body specially hands. So rabies from dog's saliva can enter your blood through these minute cuts.

Morever every dog is considered to be infected with rabies. Because it is a common infection in dogs.

Morever there's no cure for rabies, so it is better to consider that dog had rabies virus in saliva and you got virus of rabies. So I would strongly recommend you to go for a vaccination against the rabies.
