What Are The Chances Of Getting Pregnant With Unprotected Sex During Periods?

I've got a problem right now that is really starting to worry me. And I know that it was probably really stupid of me to do this. But about 3 days ago I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend while she was on her period. In fact it was the first day she started her period. But what worries me is that I ejaculated inside of her and I am worried if she will get pregnant. So my question is, can a girl get pregnant if she has sex during her period?

There is no chance of pregnancy by the intercourse on the first day of the menses. Woman releases only one egg per cycle and that is 14 days before the next expected menses (M -14D).
However, you should avoid sex while woman is bleeding. Sex during this pahse carries high risk of infetions to both. If the womam catches the infection, it may go up in the reproductory organs and then there is a risk of her tubes getting blocked. This might lead to infertility.
