What Are The Chances Of Being Infected With Primary HIV?

49 yo male unprotected oral and vaginal sex with a 30 year old female unknown status, with trichomonas. Quest lab HIV elisa negative at 34 days post exposure. HIV RNA qualitative pending. Normal CBC and diff. No fever, small are of folliculitis of the chest resolved with benzoyl peroxide. No other primary HIV infection sign and symptoms.

What is the probability of primary HIV in this sceneario?

1. You mentioned that you had sexual intercourse and oral sex which both unprotected and the results of the ELISA you mentioned was just 34 days old from risk exposure
2. To know the exact status try to done ELISA after 6 weeks of exposure to risk.
3. By the way you mentioned the RNA test which the result is pending please try to know the test because it gives good result after 1-3 weeks to the exposure to hiv
4. Finally, try to get result of RNA polymrease and then after 45 days by the ELISA test
