What Are The Causes & Treatment For Allergy Like Swelling Of Nostrils?

I've been having bad allergies the past few days. I've taken some otc allergy meds hoping it would help but now my one nostril is swollen (on the inside) and almost completely blocked. It doesn't hurt if I put pressure on it but it is runny. Also, I think it's causing my eye to water.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

In addition to the allergy medication that you have been using, you may need a topical steroid nasal spray.

This would help to reduce your nasal symptoms such as swelling, runny nose, congestion.
Examples are flonase, rhinocort, nasocort, nasonex
A prescription may be needed.

In addition a topical decongestant such as normal saline or otrivine would also be helpful.
These would be available over the counter.

I hope this helps
