Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain big bumps over the back of tongue can be due to inflamed Circumvallate Papillae that contains taste buds and are located in the back one third of tongue in a typical "V" shaped pattern and conditions like throat infection, oral infections, burning with hot foods, allergic reaction to any medicine or food, acid reflux, post nasal drip etc can cause inflammation and swelling of the papillae..
You can consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and after the cause is ruled out treatment of the same will help..
For symptomatic relief you can gargle with warm saline, do soda bicarb gargles, take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and suck on ice pops for relief..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
