General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Slight pain and discomfort can happen after IUD removal. It will settle by itself without many complications.

Generally, no definite treatment is required. If symptoms persist better to consult a gynecologist and get a vaginal swab done to rule outback possible infective causes like chlamydia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
