General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a folliculitis or carbuncle. It will be helpful if you attach a picture in the followup query.

As a first line management you can apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin for symptomatic relief.

If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
