First of all I would like to know your blood pressure as other ways are for mild rise in blood pressure.
You can reduce the salt intake and some other measures include stoppage of smoking, drinking and tobacco chewing.
I will advise you not to rely fully on these methods or any other methods, if your blood pressure is constantly high. Just start these measures and if blood pressure remains normal then only you can stop medicines.

General & Family Physician Dr. Santosh Kumar A's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM. Once you are diagnosed with hypertension you have to take anti hypertensives regularly with out failure. Dont stop medications without your doctor's knowledge. Here are few tips.
1.Regular physical activity — at least 30 to 60 minutes most days of the week — can lower your blood pressure by 4 to 9 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg).
2.Consider boosting potassium. Potassium can lessen the effects of sodium on blood pressure. The best source of potassium is food, such as fruits and vegetables
3.Even a small reduction in the sodium in your diet can reduce blood pressure by 2 to 8 mm Hg, so reduce salt intake
4. Quit alcohol
5.lose extra weight

Have a regular visit to your doctor and follow his advice. Regards
