It's a bacterial infection of the skin. The best treatment is moist heat. Try a warm moist application two to three times a day. Due to its location and the fact that it is going to become painful to the touch, Sex is not recommended until it abscesses and drains. There has been some success using Ichthammol ointment 20%. It is a topical cream applied to the Boil to make the white blood cells gather to fight the infection faster.
