HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Asthma is more common in young children, they may actually outgrow the symptoms as they age.
For this reason ,inhalors such as flixotide are used in children who need it. These steroid inhalors are used in asthmatics your daughters age.

The monteleukast is also used for asthma. There are varied doses according to age and there is a dose that would be appropriate for your daughter.

Asthma is a common cause for night time cough. The other causes are post nasal drip and GERD.

If the medications are used appropriately with no response, the doctor may consider these causes as well.

I hope this helps
