Vaginal Smell, Like Semen, Before Sex. What Could It Be?

Hi, I have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 years now and we had a chat last night and he said that my vagina has a strange smell to it. He said its not a bad smell but he's worried about it and now so am I. He said it has been there for about 3 months now and he can smell it before we have had sex and it is even stronger after. He said it smells like semen. I only see him on weekends and he can smell it before we have sex, is this normal?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
If you are not having symptoms like white discharge, itching, foul smell etc, no need to worry about the odor you are having.
If you are having any of these symptoms better consult gynecologist and get treated.
If odor is the only problem, you can follow measures like :
-Taking bath just before intercourse.
-Adding rose water etc in bathing water.
-Using deodorants externally.
Take care.
