Urinary Tract Infection, On Trimethorprim. How Long Will It Take To Clear Up?
Dear doctor, I have recently (2 days ago) contracted a urinary tract infection . I am a 22 year old male. I understand it s not the norm, but I was hoping you could tell me how long it will take to clear up? I m currently taking trimethorprim and my symptoms ceased yesterday, but have reappeared again today, so I m slightly worried. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance!

Urinary trat infection would atleast take minimum 7 days to clear and can extend up to 14 days .
If your on medication this time duration will come down.
I recommend you to continue your medication as prescribed
