Urinary Infection, Sore When Emptying Bladder, Drops Of Blood. Post Operative Period For Abdominal Hysterectomy. Suggestion?

Hi there, I am 2 weeks 4 days post op after having Total Abdominal Hysterectomy. I spent 4 nights in hospital and was reasonably fit so have been up and doing most things, no heavy lifting.
However, now one week thought I was getting a Urinary infection so went to doctor got a script for this which did not do anything. Then started getting sore when almost emptying my bladder. So not sure what is happening. Slight bit of blood starting also now after 2 weeks. Your thoughts?

HI
THank for choosing, HCM, If it is burning sensation at the time of voiding, with incontinency, dysuria, then chances of uti is there, the only way to come out of this is urine culture sensitivity test, which clear the picture, discus it with your doctor, no need to worry, you can even ask for post-op. investigation, to sure every thing is okay inside the cavity, have nice day,

Welcome to HCM.
I think you might have urinary tract infection after urinary catheterization during your surgery.Better go for CBC,URINE routine/micro,USG abd. to confirm the diagnosis.
Drink more water and other liquids.
Start treatment according to reports.
Complete course of oral moxifloxacin-400 will be helpful.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
