Two Years Ago I've Had An Dislocation Of Left Foot

Two years ago i've had an dislocation of left foot big toe interphalangeal joint.Diagnosis: Luxatio art. interphalangealis hallucis l.sin aa LI l.sin.When i came in hospital two hours after injury, doctors splinted my foot, but they never done big toe reduction, nor closed or opened, nor with attempted installment of K-wire for removing sesamoid bone from dislocated joint space.Great toe was splinted for two weeks, after that i went on physical therapy, but the constant stiffness, swelling and pain lasted for months, with no movement and flexity of joint, after two months of fizio therapy. After fizio ends,iv've been to chiropractician whom try to reduce the joint, without success. Now,two years later my dr. recommended arthrodesis surgical method, joint fusion.Since my interphalangeal big toe joint has no motion at all,0 degrees, and since 39 years old, i would like to regain joint motion, instead of fusion. Therefore, since fee weeks ago, aftery doctor reccomended arthrodesis as the only option, im looking for a possible better solution of this condition,so i found recently info about Volar plate arthroplasty, which is a surgical method for solving the specific and uncommon type of injuries of volar plate avulsion, and dislocation of interphalangeal joint on the foot or hand fingers, with partial or complete tear in collateral ligamentous tissue, including Miki type I and type II dislocations, which involves reducing the interphalangeal joint space between proximal and distal phalanx, which happened in my case, but wasn't diagnosed at the time injury happened. In that sense, considering all possible options and studies of renowed Dr.Eaton success of volar plate arthroplasty surgery method, with patients who had also 0 degrees of joint movement, with great results in joint ROM motion improvement after operation,im asking which option is possible method of choice gor me,is volar plate arthroplasty suitable option for my condition,or maybe PIP resection of interphalangeal joint Arthroplasty,or arthrodesis method is the only option for me?
Best regards,

Vladimir
