Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi, I am sorry you are still in so much pain. I would recommend a few things for you:

1. Physical therapy: This I have found is often very helpful for patients like yourself to decrease pain and increase functioning on a day to day basis. This can include things like water therapy- exercises in a pool for those who cannot walk due to joint or muscle pain

2. Pain specialist: You can consider seeing a pain specialist for close management and adjustment of medications.

3. Behavioural therapy: This is usually given by a psychologist- often chronic pain is associated with depression (from pain itself) and counseling and psychotherapy are helpful to decrease pain. The therapist can also refer you to a psychiatrist if they think you have symptoms of depression for medications.

Please let me know if that was helpful. Thanks!
