Vertebrae are normal in height and alignment. Posterior elements appear normal in signal intensity. Spondylotic changes are seen in the lumbar vertebrae in the form of marginal osteophytes and grade 2 end plate changes. Partial disc dessication are noted at multiple levels. Diffuse disc bulge is noted at L5-S1 level causing thecal indentation and mild lateral recess and neural foraminal stenosis. Paracentral and foraminal disc buldge is also noted at L3-4 and L4-5 levels, causing no significant central canal stenosis and mild narrowing of bilateral, lateral recesses and neural foraminae. Facet joint hypertrophy is noted at multiple levels. Visualised spinal cord appears normal and ends at D12-L1 level. Thanking you

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern for your father here the report of MRI scan is suggestive of degenerative disease of spinal column and this could be due to Geriatric problem, if your father have any symptoms and this can be treated symptomatically otherwise no specific treatment needed for this, take care of your father have nice day.
